Resolution of the Government Council of the Canton of Zurich / Amendment of the Ordinance on Measures to Combat the Covid 19 Epidemic on December 8, 2020.

We inform you that the Government Council of the Canton of Zurich has amended the Ordinance on Measures to Combat the Covid-19 Epidemic on December 8, 2020.
G-ccording to the new resolutions of the Government Council of the Canton of Zurich, among other things, prostitution is prohibited as of December 10, 2020 (§ 5, para. 1 Ordinance on Measures to Combat the Covid 19 Epidemic).
According to the explanations of the government council:
All services that serve to satisfy sexual or erotic needs fall under this ban. Brothels and erotic establishments, cabarets, establishments, sex clubs, strip clubs, sauna clubs and similar establishments are to be closed!
Street prostitution and escort services are also covered by this decision.
In the event of a violation of these measures, a fine of up to 10,000 Swiss francs is threatened in accordance with Art. 83 Para. 1 lit. j EpG.
The ordinance is provisionally valid until January 22, 2021. Depending on the course of the epidemic, the government council may also extend the measures.
